Trailer of 'Silk Road'- the Vienna Boys Choir movie by Curt Faudon

English

There are many documentaries about the Choir, but Curt Faudons’ combination of documentary, costumes and road trips is truly spectacular.

As the starting point of the movie is the Silk Road Project, the movie depicts the nomadic life of the 100 Choristers in Hong Kong, Canada, the USA, German and on the Silk Road itself. Apart from performance excerpts and beautiful music, the film also tells the history of the Choir and their unexpected encounter with musicians from China and Usbekistan. ‘Silk Road’ was the runner-up in the documentary category in the World Television Awards 2009 held in Banff, Canada.
